What I Do

LGBTQIA+| Trauma | Counseling | Therapy | Online | Florida | Georgia | Minnesota

I graduated from Boston University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and from Washington University in Saint Louis in 2011 with a master’s degree in social work.

I am primarily trained in cognitive therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I also have training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). All these acronyms essentially mean that I am deeply interested in how you think and how you act in day-to-day life, and how those thoughts and actions influence your emotional health and your beliefs about yourself, others, and the world around you. I also take a deep interest in helping you live according to your values and how to build a meaningful and satisfying life. As a social worker, I am also passionate about finding resources in your local community to assist you in working toward your goals.
